NOTICE – CANADA POST SERVICE DISRUPTION

NOTICE
CANADA POST SERVICE DISRUPTION MAY DELAY PROPERTY TAX NOTICES

Canada Post workers have issued a strike notice beginning Friday, May 23, which may disrupt mail delivery. For rural property owners, this could delay the annual property tax notices that are normally mailed by the Province’s Surveyor of Taxes office on May 31.

Here are a few other ways you can get your property tax notice:

  • Online via eTaxBC
  • In person at a Service BC location
  • By phone at 1-888-355-2700

Reminder: Rural property taxes are due July 2, 2025 and are paid to the Province, not the CCRD.
