We’re Hiring: Part-Time Summer Recreation Job Opportunities

Do you have a passion for a particular sport or outdoor activity? Then don’t miss this opportunity! The CCRD is seeking qualified energetic part time instructors/assistants for its 2024 Summer Recreation Program for July-August.  

Instructors are responsible for providing various stimulating lessons while they lead programs. Assistants are responsible for supporting instructors and various other duties. Need to be fun loving, able to work with all ages and have experience in the recreation field.  

Qualifications:

– All potential staff must complete a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Screening note (free at the Bella Coola Police Station). 

– Emergency First Aid/CPR (current).

Instructors/Leaders: Training, leading, experience, certifications in the specific outdoor activity.  Previous teaching experience, excellent communication skills and comfort in leading the activity. 

Assistants: Excellent communication skills, Experience in teaching/leading sports, willing to learn. 

Rates: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
