The CCRD values the hard-working community groups and volunteers who undertake projects, programs, and services that benefit communities in our Region.
Funded in part by Northern Development Initiative Trust, the Community Grant Writer assists the Regional District with grant applications, identifying funding sources, and submissions in support of qualifying community organizations.
The CCRD Grant Writer Support Program is intended:
- to secure more funding dollars to support community economic development projects and initiatives within the CCRD; and
- to build grant writing capacity and expertise within local organizations.
Community organizations operating in the Central Coast region who are seeking funding for a community economic development initiative have an opportunity to access the Community Grant Writer.
Request support by completing and returning the Request for Assistance form to the Central Coast Regional District. Hard copies of the form are also available at the CCRD Office located at 626 Cliff Street, Bella Coola.
Please review the 'Preparing to Work with the Grant Writer' criteria prior to submitting your request.
If your organization is applying to a specific grant, please contact the Grant Writer Support Program a minimum of two weeks prior to the grant application deadline, in order to provide enough time for the Community Grant Writer to assist you with your project.
