Rainfall Warning – Central Coast – Coastal Sections – October 14, 2020

Rainfall warning in effect for:

  • Central Coast – coastal sections

A moisture-laden Pacific front will move onto the central coast of B.C. on Thursday. Rain will begin in the morning and becoming heavy late in the day and last through Thursday night. The front will move exit the region early Friday morning.

Total rainfall amount of 100 mm is expected over the coastal region and up to 80 mm of rain over the inland sections by Friday morning.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
