Construction Update on the Great Bear Rainforest Playground Project

Exciting News: The Great Bear Playground Upgrade is in progress.

Construction has started at Walker Island. The walking trails, softball fields, picnic areas, and concession are still available for use. Please stay out of the playground construction area, and use caution when nearby.

Construction at the Nusatsum Park should start in the next few days.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, please enjoy the playgrounds at Nusatsum Elementary School (NES), Bella Coola Elementary (BCE), and the Airport.

The Great Bear Playground Upgrade project is grant-funded.
