Are you interested in learning more about becoming a candidate in the 2026 Central Coast Regional District election?
Join the CCRD for an informal candidate information session for anyone considering running for office, supporting a candidate, or simply wanting to better understand the local election process.
The Central Coast Regional District is governed by elected Electoral Area Directors representing Electoral Areas A, B, C, D, and E. The 2026 general local election will give residents the opportunity to elect their regional district representatives and help shape local decision-making for the next four-year term.

What to Expect
This session will provide a plain-language overview of the candidate process, including key dates, required forms, nomination requirements, campaign basics, and what candidates can expect during the election period.
