Request for Proposal – Thorsen Creek Landfill Operations Contact
The Central Coast Regional District (CCRD) invites proposals from qualified machine operators to perform all heavy machine operations at Thorsen Creek Landfill, located in the vicinity of Thorsen Creek, Bella Coola, BC. It is the intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify a lead proponent and negotiate a contract for provision of landfill equipment and its operation at Thorsen Creek Landfill. The initial term of the contract is five (5) years, commencing January 1, 2027 and ending December 31, 2032. Contract rates are subject to annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustment in each year of the contract, including any extension years.
All inquiries must be directed only to the Solid Waste Coordinator, Nicola Koroluk by at 250-982-0081 or by email at ops@ccrd.ca. Deadline for inquires is August 21, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.
Proponents must submit proposals by email, in pdf format, to ops@ccrd.ca no later than 4:00 p.m., local time, Friday, August 28, 2026. The email subject line should read: “2027 TCWRC RFP Operations Proposal”. Proposals received after the Closing Time will not be considered. They will be returned to the proponent(s) unopened.
