Pursuant to sections 464, 466 and 477 of the Local Government Act, notice is hereby given that the Central Coast Regional District will hold a Public Hearing regarding Bella Coola Valley Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 565, 2026.
What: Notice is given that a public hearing regarding Bella Coola Valley Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 565, 2026 will take place at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

The Public Hearing will be chaired by a delegate of the Regional District Board.
Proposal: To adopt the Bella Coola Valley Official Community Plan as the Official Community Plan for Electoral Areas C, D and E, including its map schedules, and to repeal Bella Coola Valley Official Community Plan Designation Bylaw No. 302, 1998. The proposed bylaw applies to all lands within Electoral Areas C, D and E.
How can I provide comment? Anyone who believes that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw will be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing.
Written submissions may also be made on this matter. Written submissions must be received by the Regional District office by 8:45 am on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
