Central Coast Regional District Bella Coola Valley Official Community Plan (OCP) Update Community Survey

The CCRD is currently undertaking an update to our Bella Coola Valley Official Community Plan (OCP). As part of this process, we are seeking input from all valley residents. The input received from this survey, as well as future engagement activities, will help set the direction for future land use planning in the valley. The CCRD also views this OCP update as an opportunity to advance reconciliation efforts with the Nuxalk Nation.

We are inviting all residents, every member of your household, to complete their own survey. Surveys can be completed online at: https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/TWK9SNZ

Paper surveys are also available at the CCRD Office and can be returned to the Regional District once completed.

The surveys will be tabulated by an independent agency and will remain anonymous and confidential. It is also important to note that some of the questions may relate to issues that the Regional District only has an indirect influence on. Regardless, we want your input to provide guidance to key stakeholders on these issues. The survey will be available online until March 10, 2023, and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey! Your ideas and thoughts are vital to the future growth and development of the Bella Coola Valley. We will work to reflect your concerns and ideas within this key community document, and we will provide feedback on how public input influenced its development.

The survey can be done by clicking the link.
Scanning the QR code or a paper copy of the survey can be picked up from the Central Coast Regional District office at 626 Cliff St. Bella Coola.
