The Central Coast Regional District board of directors is pleased to announce that a new Chief Administrative Officer has been hired and will commence work with the regional district before the end of June. Courtney Kirk, comes to the regional district with a Bachelor of Science, Juris Doctor, (University of Saskatchewan) and Master of Laws (University of Calgary) degrees. Her background includes teaching and mentorship, consultation and policy analysis and she also brings significant local knowledge to the position. She has also worked in the fields of editing and research.
Ms. Kirk also serves as a director on the board of the Bella Coola Cooperative Association.
Ms. Kirk has served the regional district in recent years as the Alternate Director for Electoral Area E. She resides in Bella Coola with her family.
