Highway 20 is now open in both directions. The majority of Evacuation Orders and Alerts across the west Chilcotin have been lifted as of September 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM, reflecting improving conditions.
While access has improved, caution is still advised:

- Displaced livestock (cattle and horses) and wildlife may be present on or near the roadway. Please slow down and drive carefully.
Travellers should remain prepared for delays or reduced visibility due to smoke and continue to monitor updates for any changes.
